MP: A revised petition has been filed by the Association of Private Dental-Medical College, MP (APDMCMP) in the Supreme Court.

The matter concerns the PG seats in private medical colleges for the 2016-17 academic sessions. In an earlier decision by the apex court, it has been directed that APDMC is not allowed to fill 85% of the seats in PG courses for the said academic session. Instead, all seats have to be filled through state quota through All India Pre-PG Examinations.

A petition was filed by APDMC asking for permission from Supreme Court on the matter. However, after being rejected it has filed another petition following an APDMC executive body meeting held over the matter.

APDMCMP General secretary Anupam Choukse, while taking to Free Press, said, “We have filed revision in Supreme Court. We convened a meeting and decision regarding filing revision, was taken unanimously.”
