Kumar’s body is currently in the mortuary and his parents have been informed about the unfortunate incident.

What makes the matter seem strange is the fact that Kumar’s room was seen locked from July 4; however, there was no reported action from the hostel warden, drawing any suspicion whatsoever.

Police, after checking the call records of Kumar, have confirmed that he last spoke to his mother at 1 am and 10 am on July 1. Post which, he did not answer any call. This fact suggests that he must have allegedly committed suicide on the same day.

Despite several measures by government and other NGOs, these cases have always been a matter of concern in Kota. The city is a hub for many medical and engineering aspirants in India.
