Kerala: Spot Admissions at medical colleges to take place on October 7

Kochi: Six self financing medical colleges are going to have their vacant seats filled through spot admissions, conducted by the Commissioner For Entrance Examinations,including the Amrita Institute of Medical Science on 7th October 2016. The venue for it is fixed as the Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. The option registration date for this has been fixed between the 4th of October,2015 and 5th October 2016, 5 pm.


The medical colleges included in this phase of allotment are Karuna Medical College, Vilayodi, Palakkad, Kannur Medical College, Anjarakandy, KMCT Medical College, Mukkom, Kozikkode, Malabar Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Modakkallur P O, Atholi (via), Kozhikkode, Believers Church Medical College Hospital, Kuttampuzha, Thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta and Amritha Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.


Allotment to all seats in Kannur MC, Karuna MC and KMCT will be conducted by the Commissioner.

Vacancies in dental institutions will also be filled at the same time. Registered options of candidates on 5th Octiober 2016, would lead the CEE to publish the allotment on 6th Oct,2016.


The students who get an allotment will be able to join the allotted college through a spot admission to be held at the old auditorium in the Government Medical colleges, Thiruvananthapuram, on 7th Oct,2016.


The spot admissions would begin at 10 sharp and the students are supposed to be their on time. They are to carry their necessary documents and fee. The allotments would be based on their NEET scores. Students unable to register their options online on the CEE website will not be part of the allotment.


Those wanting to apply for option registrations are supposed to visit the CEE website www.cee. Kerala.gov.in and register through the link. Registration are to be based on NEET ranking.
