Kerala: AIIMS team visits GMC Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: The Jai Prakash Narayan Trauma Apex Care Centre, AIIMS, team visited the Emergency wing of the Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College, which is currently under renovation.


The AIIMS-model trauma systems and protocols will be put in place here when the casualty wing is readied, sources said. The Medical Superintendent of JNTAC, AIIMS, Sanjeev Kumar Bhoi and Tej Prakash Sinha, shared with the MCH officials, the AIIMS experience in timely and protocol-based trauma management .


They elaborated on their triaging system and the significance of the digital display board outside the casualty, providing updated information on a patient to his relatives sitting in wait outside..
