Kerala: 281 faculty posts at GMC Palakkad to be created

Kerala: Faculty shortage at Government Medical College, Palakkad ( GMC Palakkad) has led the State Cabinet at a meeting on Wednesday to take a decision regarding the creation of 281 posts at this state run college. The decision came al0ng with the cabinet call to amend Kerala Education Rules.


The state cabinet officials also went ahead with the decision of making 38 faculty appointments in the college, immediately after the creation of the posts. The State Cabinet officials also decided to add 20 more seats at the Government Ayurveda College, Kannur.


The Cabinet also discussed senior bureaucratic appointments, as well as appointments of Munsif magistrates at this meeting.
