Karnataka: MCI debars two more government colleges for 2017-18

Bengaluru: The Medical Council of India(MCI), will not be recommending renewal of permission for Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences and Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences a report in Hindu points. Both are state run government medical colleges. They were supposed to admit the second batch of 150 seats each for the 2017–18 academic year.


Sharanprakash R. Patil, the Medical Education Minister, however struck an optimistic note to the Hindu saying, “They usually give us some more time for compliance and we will communicate with the MCI and do the needful.”
