Karnataka: 152 medical students given away graduation certificate

Mysore: Graduation certificates were given away to one hundred and fifty two graduates of the 2011 batch of the Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI) on Sunday, at JK Grounds. The event was co-hosted by MMC&RI and Mysore Medical College Alumni Association (MMCAA).


Dr CN Manjunath, Director, Rajiv Gandhi University of health Sciences (RGUHS), gave away the graduation certificates to the students


Student Toppers: Dr Bhavika Vijavat, Dr YR Arshitha, Dr S Abhishek, Dr HR Bharath, Dr Madhu Kikeri, Dr Shruthi Parimo, Dr Soumya S Aithal, Dr Girija, and Dr Arpitha, were given gold medals for their outstanding performance.


Dr Manjunath highlighting qualities of a doctor said a medical practitioner ought to be noble, with maximum patience and orientation to service towards patients. He told thedoctors present to stay away from making the service commercial in nature and serve their patients by understanding their ailments appropriately reports city today.


MMC&RI Dean, Dr B Krishnamurthy, MMCAA’s Dr HT Chidananad were present for the event.
