Junior doctors strike continue in SCB Medical College

Cuttack: The indefinite strike by junior doctors of SCB Medical College and Hospital entered the third day with no sign of ending.

Demanding adequate security after a doctor of the hospital was allegedly attacked by the relatives of a patient, junior doctors started boycotting hospital duties since the evening of March 27.

Although, several officials of the health department and hospital authorities held several rounds of meeting with the junior doctors, the latter refused to relent and reiterated their demand for arrest of the attackers.
