JSS Medical College 2nd year MBBS student found hanging
A 21-year-old second-year MBBSstudent of JSS Medical College was found hanging from the ceiling of her hostel room yesterday by a security guard on his round. The security personnel immediately informed the Warden who ordered him to break open the door.
The girl identified as Puttaharika , a native of Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh who was rushed to the hospital immediately, was declared brought dead by the hospital authorities.
The N.R. Police have registered a case.
She is believed to have missed an exam yesterday. The reason for her death will be known after the investigations are completed, reports Star of Mysore.
