The conference is a big event on calendar of Neurological Surgeons Society of India (NSSI), and it is also the first time that the event of this magnitude (related to neurology) is being organised in the state.

Neurosurgeons from many countries and renowned surgeons from many states have come together on one platform to present papers and discuss on emerging techniques and issues in Neurosurgeries.

As reported by a local daily, the conference will continue for two more days and will conclude on Friday. A full session has been devoted to Nurses Symposium which would take threadbare vital issues in nursing care.

On the concluding day, a poster presentation is also scheduled. The organizers hoped that the conference will open up vistas for more MICE tourism in Kashmir. “We have everything needed for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) tourism. And in addition to our tourism sector, our health sector can take strides with conferences of such magnitude,” said an organizer at SKICC.
