Jammu and Kashmir: Paramedical students stage protest

J&K: Paramedical students enrolled in AMT Nursing School have staged a protest against the district health authorities.

These students are enrolled for the subject of ECG at north Kashmir Baramulla district protested againt the district authorities as they were informed that their course is invalid. The Government Medical College Srinagar has told them about their course not being recognised.

Putting the students in a state of shock, they immediately approached the Principal GMC over the matter and, were only left with the information that their ECG course is invalid and not recognised by GMC.

The students have now knocked the doors of higher authorities on the matter urging them to save their career.

As reported by a website, meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Yusha Mudgal, said she has brought the matter into the notice of Commissioner Secretary Health. "He assured me that the students would be allowed to sit in the examination" the DC added.
