Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) on Thursday launched the “Jipmer Internet Radio’, ‘TV Studio’&‘Digital Signages’ ,the first of its kind in the country in a Government Medical Institution with the help of Government of India Organisation BECIL (Broadcast Engineering Consultant India Limited) under Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB).
According to a release from Jipmer, Dr Subhash Chandra Parija, Director, Jipmer launched the facility in the presence of Prof Dr Ravi Kumar Chittoria, Chairman of JIPMER Community Radio Committee, BECIL Director Col.D.R. Gogoi among others.
