Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital (NSCBMCH) is going to have new look -'Kayakalp' with the different voluntary social groups. This comes under the Kaya Kalp programme, one of the most ambitious programme of State Government to upgrade existing hospitals. In this facelift of the hospital would be done with the help of private participation.

After taking charge Divisional Commissioner, Gulshan Bamra visited the Government NSCBMCH where he discussed the work model to make this project successful with the Dean Dr. Rooplekha Chouhan and other officials of different concerned departments.

Speaking with the Hitavada, she said that this new kayakalp programme will facilitate the patients with quality services at the hospital. To make "Kayakalp" more successful Administration would encourage the social organisation for voluntary donation of water cooler, installation of chairs at corridors, development of garden in front of Medical College Hospital and other works concerned with facilitation of patient services.

The main motive of the 'kayakalp' programme is to achieve quality services, cleanliness, security, availability of equipment and their maintenance, bio medical waste management, meals to the patients and other facilities and e.t.c.

This practice would encourage other social groups to install other medical equipment, or other things used for the enhancement of public services for patients coming to Tertiary Medical Care centre.
