Interactive session on 'Prevention of Rabies' held at Jipmer

Puducherry: The 68th interactive session focused on "Prevention of Rabies through Education and Vaccination" was held at Jipmer recently.


According to a Jipmer release, about 300 people including students from various colleges, Anganwadi Workers, JIPMER staff and general public participated in the session. The program focused on creating public awareness on Rabies and its Prevention and doctors from different departments discussed about Rabies first aid for dog bite wound and the anti- Rabies vaccination.


The session was telecasted live to all Medical Colleges in South India under the National Medical College Network (NMCN) Project through JIPMER Regional Resource Centre.
