Haryana Medical Education & Research Dept signs agreement with Hindustan Prefab Ltd

Chandigarh: Haryana Medical Education and Research Department has signed an agreement with M/S Hindustan Prefab Limited, Jangpura, New Delhi for the construction of the building of College of Nursing and College of Physiotherapy in the University of Health Sciences, Karnal using Pre-fab Technology as a pilot project.


While giving this information here on Monday, Additional Chief Secretary, Medical Education and Research Department, Dhanpat Singh said that the State Government was in the process to establish University of Health Sciences, Karnal at Village Kutail.


The estimated cost of the Project is about Rs 17 crore and would be executed within a period of six months.


Initially, the State Government has decided to construct the building of College of Physiotherapy and College of Nursing in the campus of University of Health Sciences, Karnal and make them functional from the academic session 2018-19, he added.


He said that due to paucity of time, Pre-fabricated or pre engineered structure Technology would be used to erect these buildings.
