Goa: Vulgar graffiti compels doctor to lodge complaint

Panaji: A Goa Medical College and Hospital doctor has filed a police complaint at the Agasaim police station saying that some unidentified people have drawn vulgar graffiti on the walls of her department and the door.


Police have registered a police complaint under Section 509 (gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the IPC and under provisions of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.


The doctor in her complaint stated that when she came to her department at 9 am on Saturday, she observed vulgar graffiti along her department’s corridor walls, as well as her office door, reports TOI.
