Bhopal: Days after the horrific incident of molestation and robbery inside the girl's hostel of Gandhi Medical College (GMC), the infuriated medical students uphold the protest demanding the dismissal of the GMC dean Dr Aruna Kumar, hostel chief warden and other wardens.
Despite efforts by Bhopal Divisional Commissioner, Kalpana Shrivastava to pacify the medicos by assuring them that the security and safety measures would be beefed up, the GMC students did not relent.
Besides the protest, many took to the social platform to vent their grievances regarding the concern;
Over 300 GMC students under the umbrella of Junior Doctors' Association (JUDA) gathered at the GMC auditorium after a junior doctor- a PG medical student associated with the state-run Gandhi Medical College attached to Hamidia Hospital was molested and robbed by an unidentified person who entered her hostel room through the window.
