FMGE December 2019: Last date to submit Deficient Documents TODAY; NBE issues notice

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examination (NBE) has informed the FMGE 2019 candidates about the last date for submitting the required deficient documents along with clarifications with the authority.

The last date for submitting the relevant documents and clarifications is 10th January i.e. today. The examination authority has also published the list of candidates who failed to submit the required documents as of now and can still present them by today.

FMGE Dec 2019 was conducted on 20th December 2019. The NBE recalled that candidates who have failed to submit one or more of the documents as prescribed in the Information Bulletin for FMGE Dec 2019 were allowed provisionally to appear in the examination. They were asked to provide the deficient documents/requisite clarifications latest by 10th January 2020 vide NBE notice dated 19 12-2019.

These candidates were apprised of the deficient documents in their applications through Online Deficient Document Submission Portal for FMGE and emails sent at their registered email IDs.

Result of these candidates for FMGE Dec 2019 shall be withheld if they fail to submit required deficient documents and provide required clarifications by 10th January 2020.

The deficient document can only be submitted through an Online Deficient Document Submission Portal for FMGE by entering the Application Sequence Number for Dec 2019 session and Date of Birth of applicant. The weblink to access the portal is as under:

7. The original documents should be scanned with a scanner in .pdf format for submission. Hard copies of deficient documents are not required to be submitted. Incomplete/ illegible/ unclear documents shall not be processed. Documents sent through email at any email ID shall not be processed.

As stated by NBE, the FMGE-Screening Test has been introduced through the Screening Test Regulations 2002. As per the regulations, “An Indian citizen/Overseas citizen of India possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act.”
