FMGE 2018: NBE declares results for another 297 Withheld Candidates
New Delhi: Through a recent notification, National Board of Examinations, (NBE) has now announced the results of another 297 candidates, who appeared for Foreign Medical Graduates Examination 2018, (FMGE 2018) December Session and whose results had been withheld.

Earlier, National Board of Examinations, (NBE) has announced the results for 225 candidates, 350 candidates 157 candidates, 774 candidates and 338 candidates who appeared for the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination 2018, (FMGE 2018) December Session.
The Result of FMGE (Screening Test), December 2018 session was declared on 4th January 2019, 7th January 2019 and 11th January 2019, 15th January, and 17th January 2019 and 22nd January 2019 on NBE/FMGE websites.
Now these 297 candidates are those whose results were withheld by the examination conducting body for the want of sufficient documents.

The notice states, “Subsequent to submission of deficient documents, the result of 297 candidates whose results were earlier declared as Withheld has been declared.”

The entrance examination, FMGE is an examination mandatory for all Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) in order to be able to practice in India.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE), the conducting body of FMGE states that the FMGE-Screening Test has been introduced through the Screening Test Regulations 2002. As per the regulations, “An Indian citizen/Overseas citizen of India possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act.”

Candidates are able to check the PDF document which will reflect the result of FMGE December 2018 session.
Candidates are advised to download and take a printout of the copy of their FMGE Result 2018.
Candidates will be able to download their individual scorecards by 08/01/2019 at FMGE website.
