PG Medical Admissions 2020: AIIMS notifies about open counselling; Details
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has informed about the open counselling for filling up vacant Postgraduate subject/ speciality for January 2020 session (after 3rd Round of Online Counseling).
The open counselling session will be held on 20.02.2020 (Thursday) at 8:30 AM in the Jawaharlal Auditorium AIIMS, New Delhi. The details of tentative vacancy in different subject/speciality after allotment in 1st/2nd/3rd round of Allocation / Counseling for January 2020 session have been reported earlier.
All allocation in 1st/2nd/3rd round of Allocation / Counseling for January 2020 session falling vacant by way of surrender/resignation henceforth till 1:00 P.M. on 16.02.2020 will be added to these and will be available for Open Counseling. The vacant position in all subject/speciality will be displayed on AIIMS website by 5:00 PM on 19.02.2020.

Any resignation request received after 16.02.2020 along with the penalty amount by way of demand draft will be deemed as resignation and the subject/speciality thus vacated will be included in Open Counseling. Hence a number of availability in subject/speciality may change on the day of counselling.
Candidates who are interested in attending Open Counseling on the scheduled date will be required to register themselves online for Open Counseling on the AIIMS website. The Online Registration will open on 13.02.2020 (Wednesday) at 11:00 am & close on 16.02.2020 (Saturday) at 5:00 PM. On the day of counselling such candidates will have to produce printout of the slip issued to them at the time of Online Registration for Open Counseling along with all original certificates of qualification.
Note: Candidates will not be able to attend Open Counseling without the production of printout of Registration Slip issued for Open Counseling at the time of Online Registration.
