AIIMS PG January 2020: Result For Round 3 Counselling Released

New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the Result of the 3rd Round of Online Counselling for MD/MS/MCh(6 years)/DM(6 years)/MDS, January 2020 Session.

As per the schedule for 3rd Round of Online Counselling (Online allocation of PG Course) for AIIMS PG courses in MD/MS/MCh(6 years)/DM(6 years)/MDS, January 2020 Session, the following eligible candidates have exercised their choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality) from 11.00 am 10.01.2020 to 5.00 pm 11.01.2020.

Accordingly, the allocation of PG Courses/Subject (AIIMS and Subject/Specialty) for 3rd Round has been done. The General Rules for Online Counselling (Online allocation of PG Course) is at the end of this document. The rank‐wise list of allocated PG Courses/Subject (AIIMS and Subject/Specialty) of the 3rd Round is attached above

Important information

1. This list includes all candidates who were eligible for 3rd Round of counselling irrespective of their status of participation in the process of PG Course/Subject allocation for the 3rd Round of Counselling.

2. This list does not include:

• All those candidates who did not participate in 2nd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation.

• All those candidates who were allotted PG Course/Subject in the 2nd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation but did not choose any Option online (No Action Taken) by 4th January 2020, 1.00 pm.

• All those candidates who were allotted PG Course/Subject in the 2nd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation and chose option 1 or 2 but did not complete the necessary formalities mentioned in the result of the 2nd Round of Counselling by 4th January 2020, 1.00 pm.

3. For the 3rd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation, the order of PG Course/Subject Allocation was based on merit order used for the 2nd Round (including institutional preference PG Course/Subject).

4. In case a candidate who had chosen Option 2 after the 2nd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation gets a better choice of PG Course/Subject (AIIMS and subject/Specialty), the released PG Course/Subject is offered to the next (remaining) eligible candidates as per merit order used for the 2nd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation).

5. For the Open Round, the order of PG Course/Subject Allocation will be based on the original merit list, without any institutional preference.

6. The PG Course/Subject allocation for the 3rd Round was done on the PG Course/Subject left vacant after the 2nd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation / Counselling.

7. The Date, Venue and details of the Open Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation will be announced later. Candidates are advised to visit www.aiimsexams.org regularly.

PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED BY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE BEEN ALLOTTED PG COURSE/SUBJECT IN THE 3RD ROUND OF PG COURSE/SUBJECT ALLOCATION.

All candidates who have been allotted a PG Course/Subject in the 3rd Round of Online PG Course/Subject Allocation are required to visit the website and actively (Acceptance OR Refusal) exercise one of the following options by Monday, the 20th January, 2020 up to 5:00 pm and report to allotted AIIMS by Monday, the 20th January, 2020 up to 5.00 p.m. with the original documents/Demand Draft as described below. Failure to accept will lead to forfeiture of the allotted PG Course/Subject. Kindly read the details carefully.

Candidate should choose either of the two options on the online Portal:

Option A. ACCEPT allotted PG Course/Subject

Option B. DECLINE/REFUSE allotted PG Course/Subject

Instruction for each option is as follows:

Option A: If the Option of ACCEPT allotted PG Course/Subject is selected, then

• The candidate will have to go to the allotted AIIMS by 5.00 p.m. on Monday, the 20th January, 2020 with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the My Page after login at www.aiimsexams.org) and report to the allotted Institute for depositing original documents OR a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only) in the name of the allotted AIIMS (see details below) along with photocopies of certificates. The DD will be refunded when original certificates are deposited.

• If Demand Draft is deposited instead of Original Documents at the time of joining, then the Original Documents should be submitted within 5 days of taking admission, otherwise admission will be cancelled and the deposited money will be forfeited.

• The candidates whose allocated PG Course/Subject in the 2nd Round is at the same AIIMS where they deposited Documents/Demand Draft after the 2nd Round of Counselling must also follow the above procedure.

• The candidates whose allocated PG Course/Subject in the 3rd Round is at the different AIIMS where they deposited Documents/Demand Draft after the 2nd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation must go to the AIIMS allocated in the 3rd Round. Their Documents/Demand Draft will be transferred internally.

• Please note that a candidate ACCEPT the allotted PG Course/Subject (Option A) in the 3rd Round and but DO NOT report to the Allotted AIIMS by 5.00 PM on Monday, the 20th January, 2020 to complete the necessary formalities, then the following shall apply

1. In case a PG Course/Subject had not been allotted in the 2nd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation, the

PG Course/Subject allotted in the 3rd Round shall be vacated without any further communication. Such candidates shall be eligible for Open Round.

2. In case a PG Course/Subject had been allotted in the 2nd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation and the candidate had accepted the PG Course/Subject and wished to participate in the 3rd Round (Option 2), and have already submitted a Demand Draft for Rs 3 lakhs only, the deposited amount shall be forfeited and PG Course/Subject allocated shall be vacated. Such candidates shall be eligible for Open Round.

3. In case a PG Course/Subject had been allotted in the 2nd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation and the candidate had accepted the PG Course/Subject and wished to participate in the 3rd Round (Option 2), and have already submitted original documents, these can be collected after payment of Rs 3 lakhs only through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the respective AIIMS where the certificates were deposited. The PG Course/Subject shall be vacated. Such candidates shall be eligible for Open Round.

Option B. If the Option of DECLINE/REFUSE allotted PG Course/Subject is selected then,

• Candidates who have not been allotted a PG Course/Subject earlier in the 2nd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation DO NOT have to visit the allotted AIIMS. Such candidates are eligible for the Open Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation / Counselling.

Candidates who were allotted a PG Course/Subject in the 2nd Round of Online PG Course/Subject Allocation and had chosen to Accept the allotted PG Course/Subject in 2nd Round and wished to participate in the 3rd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation (Option 2), and now want to vacate the PG Course/Subject and are desirous of getting back the deposited original certificates, are REQUIRED to visit the AIIMS where the certificates have been deposited to collect the original documents and submit a Demand Draft of Rs 3 lakhs only in favour of the respective AIIMS as mentioned below in this Result Notification. Such candidates shall be eligible for the Open Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation.

• Candidates who were allotted a PG Course/Subject in the 2nd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation and had chosen to Accept the allotted PG Course/Subject in 2nd Round and wished to participate in the 3rd Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation / Counselling (Option 2), and have submitted a Demand Draft of Rs 3 lakhs only as required, shall forfeit this amount. Such candidates shall be eligible for the Open Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation.


IMPORTANT

Those who have been allocated a PG Course/Subject in the 3rd round of PG Course/Subject allocation but DO NOT actively choose either to Accept or Decline/Refuse the offer (Option A or Option B) and complete the necessary formalities by 5.00 p.m. Monday, the 20th January, 2020 shall be deemed to have declined/refused the offer. The PG Course/Subject shall be declared as vacant for Open Round of PG Course/Subject Allocation

POLICY REGARDING THE DEPOSITING OF DOCUMENTS/CERTIFICATES/DD


The claim to allotted PG Course/Subject by candidates is subject to verification of the documents for eligibility as applicable as well as biometric verification of candidature. If a candidate fails to submit required certificates (original or photocopies with DD) his/her candidature will be cancelled, the PG Course/Subject will be vacated.

List of Documents/Certificates that are required to be deposited in Original OR duly Attested / Self Attested photocopy (after due verification of originals) along with Demand Draft as applicable.

i) Offer Letter

ii) PG Course/Subject allocation letter

iii) Final Registration Slip

iv) Admit Card issued by AIIMS.

v) Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd and 3rd Professional Examinations.

vi) MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate.

vii) Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate will be completing the internship by 31st January 2020.

viii) Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Council.

ix) High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth. (Matriculation)

x) The Candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable*: a. SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate* issued by the competent authority and should be in English or Hindi in language. Community should be clearly mentioned in the certificate.

Note: OBC Certificate* should be issued by the competent authority for central Govt. jobs/for admission in Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub‐caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC Certificates that are applicable only for respective State Governments shall not be acceptable. OBC certificate must be in the Central Govt. Format as prescribed in the prospectus. OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer.

* The allocated PG Course/Subject of candidates who fail to produce valid certificates of respective Constitutional categories (OBC, SC/ST/EWS) will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further rounds under UR category subject to conditions applicable to UR merit list.

* The validity of OBC (NCL)/EWS certificate shall be 12.10.2018 to 03.12.2019 (both date inclusive). Any certificate issued within this period shall be accepted.

b. Physical Disability Certificate** issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board as mentioned in the prospectus.

Note: Candidates must note that a certificate from any other person/authority will not be accepted and no further correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The name, designation and the seal of the officer should be legible in the certificate.

** The allocated PG Course/Subject of candidates who fail to produce valid certificate of PWBD category will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further round under their respective constitutional category subject to conditions applicable to respective merit list.

Note: As per direction of Hon'ble High Court of Delhi in W.P.(C)135/2020 dated 9th January, 2020, one seat for AIIMS Bhubaneswar Orthopaedics under SC Category has been kept as allotted in second round of counselling as protem measure and is subject to final outcome in the matter
