Dr NTR University of health sciences announces date for certificate verification for web counseling for MBBS/BDS courses
Hyderabad: Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences has recently announced the dates for first and final verification of certificates for web counseling, for students seeking admission to UG medical courses. Candidates can get their certificates verified from July 12-17 for online counseling. This counseling is for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.
It is the first time a web-based counseling is being conducted by the University for MBBS and BDS courses.
Earlier, it had conducted web based counseling for PG medical seats in April this year. However, the issue of implementation of web counselling of PG medical education in Telangana and AP had led to protest by junior doctors in the state, for their fear of losing medical seats based on merit in government and private institutes. The Telangana Junior Doctors Association has also approached the health minister’s office on the matter.
MD team had reported that Hyderabad High Court has made it clear that any selections made on the basis of web counseling in medical colleges affiliated to Dr NTR University of Health Sciences and Dr Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences is subject to its final decision, in turn based on the petitions filed in the court.
