The police officials confirmed that the violent incident took place on Monday, 7th January. According to Inext report, the third year MBBS student, along with his three companions (who don’t study at the medical college), came to the hostel and tried to drag the senior MBBS student and put him in the car. When two of his friends who were present at the moment with him protested, the accused students allegedly beat them with sticks.
