Bhopal: 20 yr-old girl student of a private medical college found dead

Bhopal: In yet another unfortunate incident taking place in the hostel room of a private medical college, 20-yr old girl was found dead under suspicious circumstances.

The second year MBBS student is suspected to have died of poisoning, as claimed by the police.

The deceased was not responding to her roommate, who in turn, decided to inform other hostel students and college management on the matter. Only, later then she was declared dead.

The exact cause of her death can be ascertained only once the post mortem report is out. At the moment it seems to be a suspected case of poisoning.

The initial references on the case also point that the girl was suffering from depression. After the exact cause of her death is revealed then only can the police establish any theory related to this case. Is it death due to poison or heart attack can also be ascertained as the post mortem report is awaited.

A case has been registered under section 174 of the CrPC by the police.

Pioneer reported that the deceased was a second year student of MBBS and hailed from Khategaon village of Dewas district. Her father runs a shop in Khategaon. It was found that the deceased was suffering from some kind of depression as it was found that her father was not supportive emotionally and was focused only on the studies which made a vacuum for her and she remained in depression, he added.

In her diary recovered by the police the deceased addressing her father she has said sorry to her father. She also mentioned that apart from studies she wanted to do other things but was not able to share it with her father.
