Beware of touts, spoofed SMS, emails; NBE issues advisory for candidates

New Delhi: With the exam date of NEET PG 2020 approaching and FMGE December 2019, NEET MDS 2020 and DNB PDCET being conducted today; the National Board of Examinations, (NBE) has issued an advisory for its candidates warning them to be aware of the spoofed emails and messages in the name of the authority forwarded by some touts and unscrupulous elements.

Issuing a public notice to this effect, the NBE stated that some unscrupulous agents/touts are making false and bogus claims to the candidates and using spoofed emails and SMS in the name of NBE for phishing.

Candidates are hereby advised not to be allured or mislead by unscrupulous agents /touts making false and bogus claims of helping any candidate in any means by such spoofed emails/SMS or forged documents.

NBE does not send any email or SMS to candidates regarding securing good marks/merit position in any of the exams conducted by NBE.

The official website of NBE are www.natboard.edu.in and www.nbe.edu.in Candidates are advised to refer for any information about NBE and Examinations conducted by NBE only through these websites links.

Be aware when getting any email or SMS in the name of NBE, please cross verify information received through SMS in name of NBE with a corresponding Email/NBE Website update.

Candidates are also advised to use the email IDs/contact numbers for communication with NBE which are provided on the NBE websites time to time.

In case candidates are approached by any unscrupulous agents/touts promising any such undue favour through any spoofed emails/SMS or telephone call or forged documents or personally the same may be reported to NBE through email mail@natboard.edu.in or to the local police for further investigation.

EXAMS

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test in Masters of dentistry– NEET MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various PG MDS Courses under Dentists Act, 1948 (amended from time to time). No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to MDS Courses.

The entrance examination, Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) is an examination mandatory for all Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) in order to be able to practice in India.

Diplomat in National Board– DNB PDCET is a ranking examination for entry to various post diploma DNB courses.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for entrance to PG medical courses– NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses across the country.
