Beware of Touts, Agents promising MBBS seats: MCC issues Notice on Fraudulent Activities

New Delhi: Its that time of the year when young and gullible medical aspirants are being contacted by touts with big promises of MBBS seats in return for financial considerations. Authorities, on the other hand, have come out openly warning MBBS aspirants not to fall under


Medical Counseling Committee has issued a notice regarding fraudulent activities. The full information regarding notice along with the official website of MCC is given below:




It has came to the notice that many of the medical courses aspirant candidates are being approached by touts and agents for allotment of All India Quota/Central Pool Quota/Management Quota (Deemed University) medical/dental seats against a heavy amount of charges/fees.


In this regard, general public is informed that MCC/DGHS does not encourage any such procedures and allotment of medical/dental seats are strictly made on the basis of rank obtained in NEET and merit through online counselling conducted by MCC/DGHS.


Allotment result of medical/dental seats was also uploaded on the website of MCC for wide publication.


Hence, general public is advised to beware of such touts and agents and not fall in their trap.


MCC/DGHS/MoHFW will not be responsible for any such fraudulent transactions.
