Beware MBBS, BDS candidates: MCC issues advisory on Fake Allotment letters

New Delhi: Concerned with the menace of unknown authorities issuing fake allotment letters or admission to Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS) and Post Graduate admission (MD/MS/Diploma and MDS) seats under the Central pool Quota by the Ministry of Health & FW, Government of India; the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a warning to the MBBS and BDS candidates.

MCC on its website as issued a public notice for information of all Candidates/Medical and Dental Colleges/Universities of the country regarding seeking admission in UG/PG (Medical/Dental) seats based on forged Documents/Certificates.

The notice clearly states

It has come to our notice that fake allotment/nomination letter for admission to Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS) and Post Graduate admission (MD/MS/Diploma and MDS) seats under the Central pool Quota by the Ministry of Health & FW, Government of India is being issued by some unknown authority for the last few years. The students and all the concerned Medical/Dental irregularities and they may lodge FIR with Police Station immediately on receiving any complaint in this regard, under intimation to Ministry of Health and Fam ly Welfare and Medical Counselling Committee of Directorate General of Health Services. It is essential to mention that Nomination Letter for Undergraduate (MBBS/BDS) seats under the Central Pool Quota to the eligible candidates is issued only by Ministry of Health and FW, Govt. of India, New Delhi based on the recommendation of concerned State government. All the Medical / Dental colleges re-requested to take confirmation from Ministry of Health and FW and Directorate General of Health Services, Govt. of India, New Delhi on an immediate basis before giving admission to candidates to stop such irregularities.

Also, all the candidates/public are hereby advised to note that the only official website related to Allotment/Admission in NEET UG/PG/SS Seats through Online Counselling for Medical/Dental Courses is: www.mcc.nic.in and no other website is being operated/maintained by the Medical Counselling Committee, DGHS, MoHFW, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi for the purpose of Allotment/Admission in NEET UG/PG/SS Seats through Online Counselling for Medical/Dental Courses. All candidates/public are advised to be aware of/avoid any other website claiming to be authentic and not to fall prey to such agencies/personnel. Medical Counselling Committee, DGHS, MoHFW will not be held responsible for any documents submitted/payment made towards any other website by the candidate/person.
