Attention MBBS students: WBUHS issues notice on attendance

Kolkata: Through a recent notice, the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has informed about the mandatory attendance of MBBS students in Practical and Theory Examinations

The MBBS students studying at the medical colleges attached with the university are requested to view the said notice mentioned below.

The varsity Registrar-in-charge has notified all the concerned that as per Amendment Notification of the Board of Governors in Super-Session of MCI vides No MCI-34(41)/2019-Md/161726 dated 4th November, 2019, the attendance of MBBS students in Practical and Theory Examinations shall be 80% and 75% respectively in place of 75% in both the examinations which was mentioned in the Log book of Anatomy, Physiology & Biochemistry (Competency Based Curriculum - 2019).

The notification had been issued as per the directive of the Higher Authorities of the University.


The varsity has recently invited the application for Post Graduate Diploma in Disability Rehabilitation Management (PGDDRM) for the academic session 2019-2020.

The application process has already started and is set to end on 3rd December so candidates are requested to apply by then
