Kochi: The Admission Supervisory Committee based on various complaints of parents and student applicants of Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences has directed the college to give opportunity to all the MBBS applicants to resubmit their rejected applications. This along with an undertaking for the Bank Guarantee.

Applicant have complained that the bank guarantee undertakings have been rejected by the institution on the pretext that they were incomplete and therefore, legally invalid have been taken note of. The complainants have felt that the rejections were deliberate, because the authorities were attempting to select lower ranking candidates, as against the higher ranking ones.

The ASC directed the college to give reject applicants an opportunity to resubmit their bank guarantee application, after satisfying the principal regarding the same;and also be allowed to appear for both counselling and admission.

"If any applicant appears before the Principal for counselling, they be considered, subject to other eligibility basing on the inter se merit, for admission to MBBS Course 2016-17,” the Committee said.
