Applications for New Medical, Dental Colleges: Ministry of Health issues new notice

Ministry Of Health has recently issued two notices for medical colleges as well as dental colleges respectively for MBBS BDS schemes 2019-20. The information regarding notice along with the official website of the ministry of health is given below.


As per the provisions of IMC Act/Regulations/Time Schedule, applications for Establishment of New Medical Colleges/Increase in existing capacity of MBBS Course for the year 2019-20 are required to be submitted to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on or before 07.07.2018

Similarlly, As per the time-schedule under DCI (8th Amendment) Regulations, 2016, applications for establishment of new dental colleges/increase of seats for BDS course 2019-20 are required to be submitted to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare between 15.06.2018 and 07.07.2018 (both days inclusive).


Considering that 07.07.2018 is lying on Saturday (closed day), the ministry has informed that arrangements have been made to receive the applications in the Ministry up to 5 PM on 07.07.2018. All applicants are, therefore, advised to ensure that their applications are submitted to this Ministry by 5 PM on 07.07.2018.


Applications received after the due date (07.07.2018) shall not be considered under any circumstances.
