Hyderabad:The Supreme Court on Wednesday granted a week’s extension to medical admission seekers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to help them complete their admission process. The deadline for MBBS admissions has been now extended till October 7

The Telangana Government on the basis of the EAMCET 2 paper leak and the ensuing EAMCET 3 examination had requested for a 15 day extension, as the re-exam delayed the entire counselling process in the state.

AP government and private college associations followed suit by filing similar requests in court, keeping in mind, Telangana’s request being conceded to.

However, the Supreme court is reported to have granted a week’s extention only. While the last date for submission of student applications to various colleges is September 30, Telangana is in a bit of a mess with only the first round of counselling over.
