AP: Al Shifa pharmaceutical College bus hits stationary lorry killing two

Hyderabad:A bus carrying 28 students and three tutors of Kerala’s Al Shifa pharmaceutical College, Malappuram hit a stationary heavy vehicle at Macharam in Jadcharla Mandal, some 85 km away from Hyderabad, on Tuesday morning, killing both the driver and the cleaner. Twenty students received injuries reports India Today.


The bus had left Kerala on Monday evening and was headed towards Hyderabad on a study tour. The bus hit a stationary lorry in Mehboobnagar,Telangana. Initial investigations reveal that the injured students were shifted to a local hospital and are said to be out of danger.


Al Shifa College of Pharmacy was started in 2002 in the village Kizhattur, Malappuram District, Perinthalmanna.
