Andhra Pradesh: Orders issued for recruitment in in Government Medical Colleges

Hyderabad: The Government of Telangana issued orders for filling all vacant faculty positions in the Departmentt. of General Surgery in the various Government Medical Colleges of the state. The result of which has been that 13 Assisstant Professors of the state were promoted to the positions of Associate Professors and posted to the respective medical colleges.


The order came in the face of students complaining that vacant professor positions were affecting their studies.


On the orders of the Principal Secretary, Department of Medical and Health, Govt. of Telangana, a sum of Rs. 32.24 cr was released by the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad. The funds are to be used for the development of Government Hospitals.
