AIIMS MBBS, WBJEE 2019 exams dates CLASH: Students in fix

WBJEE 2019 exam date is clashing with AIIMS MBBS which is being held on May 25 and May 26, 2018.


New Delhi: Candidates, who are intending to apply for both, the entrance examination for MBBS at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, (WBJEE) 2019, are now in a predicament since the dates for both examinations, i.e. 26th May, have clashed.


Earlier the entrance test, WBJEE 2019 was going to be held on May 19, 2019, but the dates were revised after they clashed with JEE Advanced 2019. However, the new exam date is now clashing with AIIMS MBBS which is being held on May 25 and May 26, 2018.


Many candidates appear at both the examinations especially those who had pursued Mathematics and Biology in class 12th, but with the date now being clashed; the candidates are confused as to what they should go for.

The examination dates declared by WBJEE are tentative so the candidates who want to appear for both the examinations, AIIMS MBBS 2019 and WBJEE 2019, can wait for further updates by the WBJEE.


AIIMS entrance examination for MBBS is conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi. The AIIMS MBBS 2019 entrance exam will be conducted on 25th and 26th May 2019. The results for AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be announced in the month of June 2019. It will be conducted via Online Mode.


The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts examinations in various fields including engineering, technology, Pharmacy and architecture courses in various institutions in West Bengal state.

Meanwhile, two new branches of AIIMS are going to be set up in Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
