AFMC to declare results for super speciality courses on 15 July

Pune: Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), premier medical institute of India will announced its results for super Specialty courses on July 15, 2016. All the candidates can see their results on the official website of Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) afmc.nic.in on the said date. The AFMC had conducted its written exam on July 10, 2016 and Viva Voce/ Practical exam conducted on July 11, 2016.

The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a medical college in Pune, India, in the state of Maharashtra. The college is managed by the Indian Armed Forces.

Established in May 1948, on the recommendation of the BC Roy Committee, remnants of various Indian Army Medical Corps units were amalgamated to create the Armed Forces Medical services. The AFMC undergraduate wing was established on 4 August 1962, which is celebrated annually as AFMC Day by its alumni across the globe.

Armed Forces Medical College provides training to under-graduate and post-graduate medical and nursing students. If the candidates can fulfill all the eligibility criteria they can pursue career in the defence services. AFMC has been consistently rated among the top three medical colleges in India by surveys published by reputed news magazines for the past decade. It has received accreditation from NAAC with ‘A’ Grading.

Important Dates:

  • Date of reporting to college for Counseling and Medical Exam is July 26, 2016 by Board of Officers.

  • Last date of admission is July 30, 2016 (Medically fit candidates)

  • The academic session for AFMC Super Speciality Courses will start on August 1, 2016.

  • Last date of joining the allotted Course is August 6, 2016.


NOTE: Candidate should mention Application Number, Name & Roll No in any correspondence.

Process to check the result:

In order to check the results of Super Speciality courses, candidates are need to follow following steps:

  • Visit the official website, enter the required details.

  • Take out the print out of the admit card. for admission process.
