Admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, Paramedical, Nursing will be based on NEET 2019 : DTE Goa

PANJIM: To avoid last-minute confusion amongst students, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has announced that those seeking admissions to MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), Allied Health Sciences (Paramedical) and Nursing courses in the State for the academic year 2019-20 are required to appear and qualify at National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (NEET-UG).

The notice states

(A) All students seeking admissions to MBBS, BDS, BHMS(Homeopathy), BAMS(Ayurveda), Allied Health Sciences(Paramedical), & B.Sc. in Nursing courses in the State of Goa in the academic year 2019-20 are required to appear and qualify at NEET UG-2019(National Entrance cum Eligibility Test).

For further details regarding the Schedule, Centres, pattern, application form and other relevant information, candidates are advised to refer to the relevant website, as well as lookout for advertisements, circulars, notifications being issued, regarding NEET-2019.

(B) Admissions to B.E., B.Pharm courses in the State of Goa for the academic year 2019-20 shall be carried out on basis of GCET-2019,(Goa Common Entrance Test),which shall be conducted in various Centres, across Goa State, in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths based on Std. XIIth syllabus of Goa Board.
