70th Foundation Day of Assam Medical College celebrated
Guwahati: The 70th Foundation Day of the Assam Medical College(AMC),was celebrated by the Assam Medical College Alumni Association and Academic Forum at Hotel Soolin.
Former Principal, Gauhati Medical College, Dr. Amrit Kumar Barooah, delivered a speech in honour of the former Assam Medical College Principal Dr. BN Banerjee.
A scientific session on the theme 'Care for the Elderly' was held on the occasion. Participating speakers presented short papers on iron deficiency, heart burn,urinary tract infection, anemia, dementia, thyroid disorder in pregnancy and osteoporosis.
