Madhya Pradesh: 27 medical students expelled at GMRC

Gwalior: 27 medical students have been expelled by the Gajra Raja Medical College (GMRC) administration for allegedly using the unfair means during the entrance examination.

The said students has been identified as Dinkar (2006 batch), Sanjay Jatav, Jitendra Kumar, Awdhesh Kumar Bajoria, Darshan Singh Khangar, Santosh Kumar Johri, Pradeep Jayant, Manish Singh Jatav and Gaurav Chaudhary (2008 batch), Amit Hariodh, Varun Sharma, Arvind Kumar Gupta, Shahwaz Naeem, Arvind Agnihotri, Shiv Pratap Pavaiyya, Rahul Sharma and Nitin Ken (2009 batch), Vikar Mahore, Dharmendra Shakya, Jitendra Tijoria, Rajveer Jatav, Badam Singh, Vikram Singh Raman, Jai Prakash, Devendra Gautam, Rakesh Jain and Satish Rajput of 2010 batch, as reported by

The charge sheet has been filled against all the 27 students. The CBI is investigating the case to find strong evidence to confirm the involvement of these students in fraudulent activities during the examination.

The college authority will take final disciplinary decisions after the CBI investigation report.

GRMC Dean Dr. SN Iyengar said students have been expelled following endorsement by the college high power committee, which met to discuss the issue.
