Kerala:Staff salaries pending at Government Medical College
Kochi: The staff of the Government Medical College, Kalamassery, are waiting for their September salaries, to pay their bills and loan EMI's for the last month. The authorities however, had assured online transfer of payments in September. Nearly 700 members of staff happen to be still waiting for their dues.
Though the college authorities are claiming the cause of delay being bank holidays of Navratra and Muharram; employees feel the late transfer as not being a mere technical hitch.
According to Government directive, all employee accounts are to be linked to their Aadhar card number. According to information, 500 members of staff have already furnished the above mentioned details; however, the government is waiting for all to comply, before the transfer is made.
