1.84 lakh Candidates appear for JIPMER MBBS 2019
Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) , an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, yesterday conducted a common computer-based on-line Entrance examination for admission to MBBS course, 2019 session, JIPMER MBBS 2019.
The examination was held in two shifts (Morning and Afternoon) across India for filling up of 200 seats, 150 seats for JIPMER Puducherry Campus and 50 seats for Karaikal Campus.
According to UNI, over 1.84 lakh candidates appeared for this Entrance Examination in both the shifts.
The JIPMER MBBS 2019 comprised 200 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language & Comprehension and Logical & Quantitative Reasoning.

The merit list will be released on or before 21st June.
DURATION OF COURSE:
Duration of the MBBS course is 4 years and 6 months as per the Academic Calendar of JIPMER followed by ONE year of Compulsory Rotatory Internship for the award of Degree.
