    158 seats still vacant at AIIMS after 2nd round of counselling

    158 seats still vacant at AIIMS after 2nd round of counselling

    New Delhi: 158 MBBS seats still continue to remain vacant at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) despite the 2nd round of allotments having been completed.


    A total of 800 seats for MBBS are available at the 9 centers.


    Of the 158 vacancies prevailing 82 are under the UR category while 37, 21 and 18 respectively are in the OBC, SC and ST categories.


    The Delhi seats for the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, (AIIMS) have been filled already. The vacancies at other centers are as follows: Raipur-38, Rishikesh-16, Bhopal-12, Bhubaneswar-9, Jodhpur-6, Patna-33, Nagpur-25, and Mangalagiri-Guntur- 19.


    The category-wise seat availability at each center is given at www.aiimsexams.org


    Announcement for the third allotment would be announced on 31.7.2018.

    The following candidates will be eligible to participate in 3 rd Round of online seat allocation /counselling:



    1. The candidates who have opted Option-2 (ACCEPT allotted seat and want to participate in the 3rd round of Seat Allocation) and want to participate in 3 round of seat allocation.


    2. All those candidates who have chosen Option-4 (DECLINE/Refuse allotted seat and want to participate in 3rd Round of seat allocation) and have deposited original documents/DD.


    3. All the candidates who were eligible to participate but were not allocated seat in 2ndround of counselling as per their filled choices.
