Work of setting up Shri Krishna Ayush University in full swing: Vij
Chandigarh: Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said the work of setting up first of its kind Shri Krishna Ayush University is in full swing and Rs 2.98 crore has already been sanctioned for its boundary wall.
Mr Vij said instructions have been given to start the construction of the University and develop infrastructure as soon as possible. He said this educational institution would be the perfect combination of modernity and antiquity which would provide education in all the faculties under Ayush.
It would also provide Post-Graduation in Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Sidhha, and Homeopathy to make the youth of Haryana to be aware about their ancient and alternate medical system.
University Vice-Chancellor Baldev Kumar said the University is being set up in 100 acres of land in Fattupur village of Kurukshetra. The construction work of this varsity would soon be started after completing all the necessary formalities, he added.
