    WBUHS opens online registration portal for MBBS, BDS, B Pharma courses

    WBUHS opens online registration portal for MBBS, BDS, B Pharma courses
    West Bengal: Through the recent notification, the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has informed that the University Online Registration Portal for MBBS, BDS, and B Pharm fresh candidates.

    The exact details of the said notice are mentioned below:

    This is for information to all concerned that the University Online Registration Portal shall be made available for M.B.B.S, B.D.S, and B. Pharm fresh candidates (2019-2020 session) from l6-09-2019- 12:00 noon to 31-10-2019-5:00 PM.

    Candidates are instructed to complete the online registration without late fee during the above mentioned time. Simultaneously college approval can be done by the college authorities.

    Those who are unable to complete the online registration during the above mentioned time for them
    the portal will be available till 15/1112019-5:00 PM with late fee.

    1. From 16.09.2019, 12:00 noon to 15.11.2019, 5:00 PM - will be open to the candidates

    2. From 16.09.2019, 12:00 noon to 31.12.2019, 5:00 PM - will be open to Institutions for approval & verification

    All concerned are requested to refer to the "I need help section" available online on the same page, before proceeding with the form fill-up/ verification etc'.

    The SMS & Helpline facilities will be available. candidates are requested to deactivate any existing DND facility in their mobile to avoid SMS failure'.

    Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that the state of West Bengal is all set to see a major boost in medical education as the Medical Council of India (MCI) has given its approval to five new medical colleges which will increase the state’s MBBS pool by 650 seats.

    With this, the total number of Medical Colleges in the state has touched 18 where one is central government-run college, four private medical colleges, and 13 state-run medical colleges. The total number of existing MBBS seats in both private and government medical colleges is 2,600. From this academic session, the number of seats will get up to 3,250 at least.
