    Uttar Pradesh: NEET 2018 Second Round Online Counseling Suspended by DGME
    As and when further directives are received from the Government of India, the candidates will be informed and updated through the UP NEET 2018 website

    Uttar Pradesh: In a notification released on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh (DGME UP) announced to suspend the UP NEET UG 2018 Second Round Online Counseling.

    "This is to inform everyone that as per the Government of India Public Notice dated July 20, 2018 all procedures of the UP NEET UG Round 2 Online Counseling are suspended till further order", K.K. Gupta Director General DGME Uttar Pradesh said in a signed statement published on UP NEET website.

    "As and when further directives are received from the Government of India, the candidates will be informed and updated through the UP NEET 2018 website", he added. Attached is the notification of the same below

    The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh (DGME UP) had released on its official website upneet.gov.in the UP State Merit NEET UG 2018: Second Counseling result on Friday July 20, 2018.

    The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh (DGME UP) had started on June 20, 2018 online registration of the candidates who have passed NEET 2018 and are now seeking admission in MBBS/BDS and other medical courses in the government, aided and private medical colleges running in Uttar Pradesh.

    The last date of registration at UP NEET UG 2018 website was June 24, 2018. The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh (DGME UP) released the Merit List of the candidates whose registration was successful on June 25. The document verification was done from June 26 to June 30, 2018.

    After the document verification, the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh (DGME UP) started the First Round of Counselling and Choice Filling from Monday July 02, 2018. Choice filling and locking of options were done till July 04, 2018.
