Unfortunate: MBBS intern at Bikaner Medical College hangs self
Jaipur: Four days after the death of PG medico from SMS Medical College, another suicide case has surfaced in Rajasthan state where an MBBS intern from Sardar Patel Medical College (SP Medical College) has allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her hostel room.
In the recent case, the deceased medico has been identified as a 23-year-old MBBS intern who was found hanged by her hostel mates.
Informing the media about the tragic incident, Singh, SHO stated to TOI, "Her brother was calling her but when she did not pick up the phone; he called her hostel mates to check why she was not picking her phone. When they looked inside the room through the window, they found her hanging."

As the door was locked from inside, they had to break it open. Immediately, the MBBS medico was rushed to the trauma centre, where she was declared brought dead.
The medical college authorities have maintained that they are not aware of the reason behind the suicide.
Speaking to the TOI on whether the case will reach the police, SP Medical College Principal Dr HS Kumar informed, "There is no complaint filed by the medical student who committed suicide and also no complaint is filed against her. The police will investigate the matter."
Medical Dialogues has recently reported about the unfortunate incident where a 24-year-old female doctor who had begun pursuing her MD Gynaecology at SMS Medical College two months ago, allegedly committed suicide.
While no suicide note was recovered from the spot, the family members of the deceased filed a police complaint stating that their daughter was being continually harassed by her seniors and based on the same; the Jaipur Police had booked five PG medical students.
