    Unfortunate: Final year MBBS Student dies; 2 Critical after Road Accident in Hyderabad

    All the MBBS students suffered grave injuries to their heads after the fatal accident.

    Nalgonda: In an unfortunate incident, an MBBS student passed away and two other medicos sustained grave injuries in a road accident after their two-wheeler rammed with an unidentified vehicle.


    The deceased has been identified as a female final year MBBS student and the injured were her juniors at Kamineni Medical College, Narketpally.


    According to recent media reports, the horrific incident took place on Sunday, January 20. An unidentified vehicle reportedly rammed their two-wheeler that morning when they were coming back to the medical college hospital after having breakfast from a nearby hotel.

    Instead of using underpass at AP Lingotam, they took the same route by which they came to the hotel with an intention to take U-turn on NH 65 towards Narketpally. When they entered onto over the bridge, an unknown vehicle rammed their two-wheeler at the rear, reports Telangana Today.


    All the students suffered grave injuries to their heads after the fatal accident.


    A police inspector informed Deccan Chronicle, "The three students went to have breakfast at AP lingotam and were coming back to Kamineni Hospital. An unidentified vehicle rammed them from the rear and sped away, leaving all of them with head injuries."

    The bystanders immediately called up the police, following which the MBBS students were rushed to Kamineni Hospital.


    The final year MBBS student succumbed to her injuries and died during treatment and other students are still critical.


    The Narketpally police have registered a case under Section 304 (a) IPC (Causing death by negligence) and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) IPC and further investigation is underway, adds Deccan Chronicle.
