Unfortunate: 2nd Year MBBS student of Sharda University dies in Car Accident
New Delhi: In an unfortunate incident, a 25-year old MBBS student died after a car he was travelling in collided with an electric pole. Three other persons, who were accompanying the MBBS student sustained minor injuries.
The deceased medico has been identified as one Himanshu who was pursuing the second year in MBBS course from Sharda University.
The incident took place on March 9, Saturday near Delhi University Campus. According to an eyewitness of the whole incident, at about 12.30 in the morning, he saw an SUV colliding with an electric pillar. The car flipped on the spot and the MBBS student who was driving the car tossed out and rammed under the vehicle. During this gruesome course, the MBBS students sustained major injuries to his head, reports Navbharat Times.

Two girls who were sitting on the backseat, however, stepped out of the vehicle and fled the scene. The other man, who was travelling in the SUV, sustained injuries.
The eyewitness immediately called up the police and informed them about the incident. The Maurice Nagar police station after reaching the spot, rushed the MBBS student to the hospital where he was declared brought dead, reports Punjab Kesari.
The police have registered a case in this regard.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported about a similar incident where a 24-year-old MBBS intern passed away after a car she was travelling in rammed into a hospital board at a turning point.
The deceased had been identified as a final year pass out MBBS intern at People's Medical College. She was travelling with her friend, who sustained grave injuries.
