    TN Health Tamil Nadu Invites Applications to MD Homeopathy 2018

    Tamil Nadu: Through a recent notice Health and Family Welfare Department, Tamil Nadu has invited applications to MD Homeopathy course 2018. The notice with full details of the original website of TN Health Tamil Nadu is as follows:
    Applications are invited from candidates who have qualified in the AIAPGET 2018 ( HOMOEOPATHY) for admission to M.D ( HOMOEOPATHY ) a three years Post-Graduate Course, 2018-'19 session at Sarada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical College, Kulasekaram, Kanyakumari District. 629 161. (A Self Financing Minority Institution). Applications can be Downloaded from our website "www.tnhealth.org" For further details visit " www.tnhealth.org" Date of downloading of Application: 17-09-2018 to 08-10-201 Last date for receipt of filled in Application: 08-10-2018 – up to 5.00 p.m.

    PAYMENT OF COURSE FEE DEPOSIT :

    The candidates who are selected at the time of counselling shall remit a non refundable sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the "Director of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Chennai-106" on or after 11-10 -2018 payable at Chennai at the time of receipt of the allotment orders. After the receipt of the joining report from the Principals of the respective colleges, this amount will be transferred to the Colleges concerned to get adjusted with the Tuition Fees to be paid by the candidates. If the candidate fails to join the course after getting allotment order within the stipulated time he/she will forfeit this amount as well as seat allotted.

    All Candidates who participate in the Post Graduate M.D (Homoeopathy) Counselling will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) by way of Demand Draft drawn on or after 11-10-2018, in favour of "Director of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Chennai-106" payable at Chennai as processing fee for attending counselling.

    ALLOTMENT OF SEATS:

    The Selection Committee will allot seats to the College and Branches of study based on the merit and following 200 points roster based upon the seat matrix provided by the affiliating University and subject to the availability of seats at the time of individual's turn.

    Apportionment of seats between the Government and Management of Self Financing Minority Institution is in the ratio of 50:50.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO M.D.(HOMOEOPATHY) COURSE:

    A pass in BHMS Degree course conducted by The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University or any other recognized Indian University with successful completion of Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI). Candidates who have completed CRRI or will be completing CRRI on or before 31.08.2018 are alone eligible to apply for Post Graduate Degree Course in Homoeopathy. Further, the candidate should have appeared in AIAPGET 2018 (HOMOEOPATHY) and should have secured a place in the common merit list arrived at by MoA / AIAPGET 2018 (HOMOEOPATHY) Secretariat.

    At the time of counselling, the candidate should produce in Original the II Provisional Certificate or Degree Certificate from the recognized University and Medical Registration Certificate issued by CCH / Tamil Nadu Homoeopathy Medical Council, Chennai.

    The Candidate should be a Citizen of India and should have undergone B.H.M.S. Course in the State of Tamil Nadu. Candidates of Tamil Nadu Nativity who have completed B.H.M.S. Course in other States shall furnish a Certificate of Nativity in Tamilnadu issued by a competent authority only in the specified format prescribed in the application (See Annexure – I), and should also produce the Eligibility Certificate from the T. N. Dr. M. G. R. Medical University before Counseling or before attending the Counseling failing which they will not be considered for Selection.

    Hall Ticket Number and Marks scored in AIAPGET – 2018 (Homoeopathy) are to be filled in the relevant columns of the Application Form. Only Photostat Self Attested copies of the Hall Ticket and Marks Statement should be enclosed with the Application Form. Original Hall Ticket and Marks Statement must be produced only at the time of Counseling and Admission.

    NOT ELIGIBLE:

    (i) Candidates who join a Post Graduate Degree in any branch and discontinue the course on any grounds after the cutoff date fixed by CCH are not eligible to apply for two subsequent academic years.

    (ii) Candidates who have completed a Post Graduate Degree or the candidates who possess a Post Graduate Degree in one Specialty / Branch of study are not eligible to apply for admission to any other Post Graduate degree i.e., in other branches.

    MODE OF SELECTION AND ADMISSION:

    Admission to the course will be made purely on merit, based on the marks obtained in the AIAPGET 2018 (HOMOEOPATHY) together with the post – BHMS Experience Marks that will be calculated as below:

    Maximum marks for AIAPGET 2018 (HOMOEOPATHY) 90 marks

    Maximum marks for the post – BHMS Experience 10 marks

    Total: 100 marks.

    COUNSELLING:

    Personal appearance during counselling along with all original certificates/documents is compulsory for all eligible candidates applying for admission to the Post-Graduate courses to verify identity with reference to the attested copies enclosed with the Application. In any case candidates without original certificates/documents who attended first phase counselling, shall NOT be allowed to participate in second or subsequent phases of counselling. No separate letter for counselling will be issued. Candidates who are absent at the time of Counselling will not be considered for selection and no protest will be admitted in this regard.

    Candidates seeking admission to Homoeopathy PG Degree course for the academic session 2018-19 shall have to qualify All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test 2018 (Homoeopathy). It shall be necessary for the candidates to obtain the minimum of marks at 50th percentile in AIAPGET 2018 (HOMOEOPATHY).

    However, in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Castes(Arunthathiyar), Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Backward Classes (Muslim), Most Backward Classes and Denotified Community, the Minimum marks shall be at 40th Percentile in AIAPGET 2018 (HOMOEOPATHY). In respect of candidates with locomotor disability of lower limb the minimum marks shall be at 45th percentile for General Category candidates and 40th Percentile for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Castes(Arunthathiyar), Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes,
    Backward Classes (Muslim), Most Backward Classes and Denotified Community candidates.

    In case more than one candidate has secured the same number of marks the tie shall be resolved / inter se merit may arrive on the basis of the following factors in the order of priority.

    (i) Marks obtained in the AIAPGET 2018 (HOMOEOPATHY).

    (ii) Least Number of appearances in the qualifying Final year BHMS Examination.

    (iii) Total marks obtained in Final BHMS Examination.

    ( iv) Seniority in age will be given preference.
