TN Health releases allotted list, vacancy position for Paramedical Certificate Diploma 2019
Chennai: The Directorate of Medical Education and Selection Committee (TN Health Tamil Nadu) has released the allotted list and vacancy position for paramedical certificate diploma course 2019-20 session.

In a major development towards enhancing the medical education sector in the state, the Tamil Nadu government is set to add 1,350 MBBS seats in the next academic year 2020-21 by establishing a total of 9 medical colleges. Each medical college will have 150 MBBS seats for students.
As of July 2019, the state is reported to have had 7150 MBBS seats across 49 Medical colleges. Of these 3400 MBBS seats are in 26 government medical colleges while 3750 MBBS seats are there in the state 23 private medical institutes.
With the setting up of 9 medical colleges, the state will get 1,350 MBBS seats taking the MBBS pool to 8500+.
