Planning MD, MS, MDS Admissions in Puducherry; Check out Fee Structure
Puducherry: With the application process going on for PG medical admissions, the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry has released the fee structure for MD and MS courses for this academic year and next.
According to the recent notification released by CENTAC, the PG Medical fees for clinical courses for Government quota is Rs7,59,000 and Management quota Rs 22,77,000. Whereas, for non-clinical courses, it is 6,22,000 for Government and Rs 12,44,000 for management quota seats.
Meanwhile,for dental colleges, the fees for MDS- clinical branch is Rs 6,22,000 and for para-clinical, its 5,53,000. For Management quota, the fees for clinical MDS courses is 14,00,000 and 7,19,000 for paraclinical.
The CENTAC in its official notification has clearly stated:
The Fee Committee under the Chairmanship of Hon'ble Justice N. Authinathan, Judge (Retd.) Hon'ble High Court of Madras vide proceedings dated 18.02.2019 has revised the fee structure for Post Graduate Medical and Dental Courses for the years 2019 -2020,2020-2021 and 2021-22 as follows:

Accordingly, the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry is pleased to approve the above revised fee structure for admission of students in Post Graduate Medical and Dental Courses in unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions functioning in this Union Territory of Puducherry for the years 2019 - 2020,2020 - 2021 and 2021-2022, subject to the following conditions:
a. The revised fee structure prescribed above shall be applicable for the three Academic Years from 2019 - 2020,2020 - 2021 and 2021-2022, and the same fee alone should be paid by the students for the three academic years.
b. This revised fee is an all-inclusive annual fee including various fees like admission fee, Tuition fee, Special fee, Laboratory / Computer / Maintenance and Amenities fee, Extracurricular activities fee and the other recurring expenditure.
c. In addition to the above revised fee, the institutions are permitted to collect an amount of Rs.50,000/- per student as development fee.
d. The above fee does not include Hostel, Transport and the Mess charges.
The Educational Institutions are not entitled to collect any kind of fees under any guise except the fees fixed by the Committee. Any deviation will amount to violation of the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and stringent action will be taken against the management by the appropriate authorities viz. Government of Puducherry, Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India and the Pondicherry University such as withdrawal of approval of MCI/DCI, cancellation of the Essentiality Certificate issued by the Government of Puducherry, disaffiliation by the concerned University and imposition of hefty fine as penalty
